Parents if your child is sick and needs to take medicine at some point during the day, please contact our school nurse, Ruth Kuzemchak or the front office for our guidelines. Students should not be carrying or taking any kind of over the counter or prescription medication in school. We are asking for your help in this matter, in order to keep all students safe.

Parents, please make sure you are monitoring lunch balances. If your child owes more than $8.00, they will eat a fruit, granola bar, and milk for lunch. Students with over due balances of $8.00 or more will not eat a hot lunch. We have free and reduced applications available in the front office. You can stop by anytime to complete the application. To apply online, go to www.pwcs.edu. Parents who are interested in putting money on their child’s account can go to www.mylunchmoney.com. If you have any questions, please call the cafeteria manager, Mrs. Carter, at 703-670-0737 or call the front office at 703-670-4050.

Beginning today, the
PWCS Check Cashing Policy

There is absolutely no U-Turns in the school zone during morning drop off or afternoon pick up. In order to complete a U-Turn, parents must pass the crossing guard or the drop off area. I will be contacting the local police to randomly patrol the area so that we can be sure our students are safe.
